Watering houseplants

2 tablespoons of dried comfrey leaf
Pour the water over the comfrey cool to room temperature. and strain. Spray plants liberally once a week. Comfrey tea can stain so avoid contact with fabrics. Refrigerate left-over tea for up to one week.

Sugar water for longerlasting flowers
Cut flowers last longer f you feed them with tepid sugar water. Dissolve one teaspoon of sugar in 500mI (I 6fl oz) of water Change the water in the vase every couple of days.
